My Currently Inked Fountain Pens

I’m switching it up a bit from posting about my sewing adventures to include a post about my currently inked fountain pens.

It looks like I have taken a break from my pen & ink wash drawing. I have. I’m feeling like I need to do a reset artistically. I need a break from having 16 fountain pens filled with ink at one time. It got a bit out of hand. I had a hard time using all of my inked pens on a daily basis in order to keep the pens from clogging. I had over a dozen pens filled with shimmering inks with lots of shimmers collecting in the nibs and feeds. I have to admit, I still have a few of my artsy Kakunos fountain pens to clean.

For the last few weeks I’ve had only three fountain pens filled with ink. They are my favorite indie/resin pens that have swirls of colors with a bit of sparkle.

Conklin 1898, Mayfair Vanyar, & Zodiac Cancer

For now, I’m using my favorite pen trio for writing in my journals and taking notes in my BUJO. I might do a quick sketch when the mood hits me.
