Starting to Fill My Fountain Pens

For the last few weeks, I’ve created a few sketches using my new Blackwing pencils that Hubby gifted me last year. I’ve been sketching Gnomes like this one:

I thought it was time to get back into my fountain pen & ink sketching adventures. I need to get back into drawing with colors and the local fountain pen show that I plan on attending is approaching soon. I had no plans on teaching a workshop this year, but I thought about doing an informal meet up and sketch around the show. How cool would that be?

I was thinking of sketching a few florals since we are experiencing decent Spring weather and our gardens are flourishing from all the rain we received. Naturally, I started with one of my fave combination pen and ink:

I selected a few more favorite inks and associated fountain pens. I had to include my favorite art pens, my TWSBI Go:

This is just a start as I do not want to go overboard with having too many pens to keep track of. These are my basic colors for now.

Last year when I was my local pen show I came across a pen maker, Dave Dollar Custom Pens, who created pen shells (body and cap) to accommodate my Sailor FUDE nib sections. I could not resist getting one. I will definitely be doing a future review on this pen.
