Here’s the third exclusive ink I purchased a few weeks ago. I have to be honest I wasn’t sure about this ink, but it ended up in my cart to round out my total purchase with free shipping.

I have a lot of purple shimmering inks and I prefer purples that lean a bit towards pink/red. Like a really good eggplant color.
I usually know the minute I create a swatch whether the ink will become a favorite or not.

It did not take long for this beautiful purple color to become a favorite of mine.

I’ve been in a “grape” sketching mood. It’s probably easier for me to draw circles on my paper and call it creative artwork.
This ink is a lovely purple color with pinky-purple shimmers. The shimmers remind me a raspberry color. Absolutely gorgeous!

I grabbed a few purple swatch cards from my Col-o-ring to see where this lovely purple sits in relation to my other purples. In the following picture, Izzy Monster is a bit darker than Sunset.

Here’s another set of purple shimmering swatch comparisons.

I already knew I had a similar Robert Oster purple ink color called Silver Dawn. Silver Dawn has silvery shimmers which makes the ink look a bit lighter depending on the lighting.

Here’s what Sydney Lavender looks like compared with Izzy Monster.

Here’s my three favorite Robert Oster purple inks together. They are very similar yet very different. They have different personalities and of course, Sydney Lavender has no shimmers.

The more I use this lovely ink, the more I see a blue underlying color.
Did I mention that Izzy Monster is now one of my fave inks?
I’ve been using this ink with Silver Dawn in my “grape” sketches. I love how well the colors blend together.

You can find Izzy Monster here and find additional information on the name of this lovely ink.
